Error: Cannot access your workgroup templates (due to Run from CD installation).
Error:
Can not access your workgroup templates.
Cause:
This error occurs when clicking 'Start A New Document' on the 'Office' toolbar or the 'New' command on the 'File' menu in any Office program. Office was initially installed using the 'Run from CD' option and the Office CD-ROM is not currently in the computer. The registry setting for Shared Templates points to the CD-ROM drive instead of a network drive.
Solution:
Customize the Office Shortcut Bar and type a network directory for the Workgroup Templates Location.
1) Right-click on a blank area of the Office Shortcut Bar.
2) Select 'Customize...' from the Shortcut menu.
3) Click the 'Settings' tab.
4) Select 'Workgroup Templates Location'.
5) Click 'Modify...'.
6) Type the full path to the workgroup directory containing the templates in the 'Setting' box.
7) (Optional) Click 'Browse...' to locate the drive and folder.
